For Sale: " GO ARMY " reenlistment pen and pencil set in nice wood case
Description and Condition: These pen and pencil sets were inducements to re-enlist. They came from an Army officer that has been retired for quite some time----to the actual age could be 10 to 15 years. The sets as you see them----come in a cardboard container---that has protected them. I have several sets, and they all look pristine, still in paper boxes, and pens and mechanical pencils in clear plastic wraps. The wooden holder is hinged. Looks like "writing" is with laser. I wanted to check how the instruments worked, so no problem with the mechanical pencil. The ink pen---on the one I tested did not write ---coming out of the box. Typically----older ink pens can be made to work---by giving them a bit of a work out. Did not want to mess with it any more. Thought these might be nice as just a remembrance / display. I will start with 7 of these sets. They are quite nice looking as you can see by the photos.
