This listing is for 3 original Pencil drawings from Elsa West
One is Signed Elsa West, others are unsigned but are from her personal collection.
These are very rare and dont come up that often.
Signed drawing measures (inches): 14 1/2" wide x 12" tall (double sided with writing on back)
Vellum drawing measures (inches): 14 1/2" wide x 12" tall ( vellum translucent paper) Other one is the same size.
I have a few other original drawings from Elsa West in my Pricetronic store (others are not included in this sale).
I can combine ship multiple items purchased (when possible).
What I know about Elsa West is that she was a recognized artist for Maine (ME) landscape and architecture. Her work was used for several postcard artwork in the 1920-1950's. Her works are listed in the Maine Historical Society .
Her original drawings do not come up very often, they look to be her early works when she was in College or just out of College around 1917.
