Alfred Hutty-two Original Pencil

For sale are two framed pencil portraits on paper of Charleston, South Carolina figures, by Alfred Hutty(1877-1954).  The first piece is of an African American youth, signed with initials lower right, dated 1920, framed size is 16x22".  The second piece is of an African American woman, unsigned, framed size is 16x20".  The back of this piece has a newspaper article about the artist in Charleston, and there is a label on the back from Carolina Gallery, 188 Kings Street, Charleston, which was the exclusive dealer of the estate works of Alfred Hutty in the 1980s.  The other piece also had a label from Carolina Gallery, but it has fallen off and I can't find it.  The framing is very nice, no condition issues seen, not examined out of the frame.  These pieces bought at an estate sale in Saratoga, California.
