This is an antique 14K pencil case, but could also be used as a needle case. It is 84mm long, 11mm wide, and 7mm thick. Marked “14K”, and weighs 10.3 grams. Each side has repousse symbols of masculine items. A key, hand of cards, pipe, and a corkscrew. Also, one side has a small, lightly engraved Gothic initial on it. It is also marked with the “Battin & Co.” makers mark. The company was in New Jersey, and manufactured silver & gold novelty items from 1896-1922. This is a beautiful piece, with no dents or damage.
