The Bite Beauty lip pencil is a wooden pencil that you sharpen with a standard sized eye/lip pencil sharpener. The lip pencils contain whipped shea butter & glide on the lips smoothly. These are not a stiff, overly drying lip pencils – they glide on easily without causing any dragging. As a result, you may find the formula is on the softer side, which will require a little bit more sharpening than some of the dryer, harder formulas out there. #028 Rose Terracotta is a moderately warm-toned, medium-dark plum with a matte finish. It has opaque pigmentation in a single stroke, which was just creamy enough to maneuver over the lips for filling in as well as for lining. The color lasted for six hours and was non-drying. This is a moderately warm-toned, light-medium coral with a semi-matte finish. Intensely pigmented with one swipe coverage. Very versatile and wearable! The consistency was soft & slightly creamy, more velvety than creamy making application easier & wear more comfortable on the lips. The softness makes it easier to even out the color by rubbing my lips together rather than applying more product. The formula has a lightweight feel on the lips and long lasting staying power. They will require sharpening, as they are creamier. Tip: Keep in a cool place or in the freezer (for a few minutes) prior to sharpening to minimize any mess in the sharpener.
