Thank you!    Original pastel/mixed media on deckled edge paper by Catherine LeCleire (New Jersey/New York, Contemporary Artist)  Untitled #4, created in 1982. Shows a minimalist style composition in cool gray and light blue tones with fine pink, orange, yellow, and green details. LeCleire beautifully combines geometric precision with naturally moving striations in this piece. Purchased from a private Philadelphia estate art collection. Measures 22.5x 30 inches. This piece is not matted or framed and will be shipped flat. Condition looks overall very good with no observable damages (marks on back are most likely from artist's original work space). Thank you!    About Catherine LeCleire: Throughout her artistic career, Catherine LeCleire has shown her work and attended residencies.  In 2014 she received the “New Works Residency” at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Maine and the Juror’s Award at San Luis Obispo Museum in California. In 2012 she received the Walter Gropius Award at the Huntington Museum of Art in West Virginia and in 2008 the Konrad Award at the Printmaking Center of New Jersey. Catherine LeCleire has her own book binding business and has bound books for James Brown, Joan Mitchell, David Salle, Richard Tuttle, Octavio Paz, Janet Taylor Pickett, and Bruce Connor. Catherine LeCleire’s works are in the collections of the Baku Museum in Azerbaijan, Lafayette College, Brooklyn Museum, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, William Paterson University, Montclair Museum, The Print Center, Hunterdon Museum, Center for Contemporary Printmaking, City of Thousand Oaks, Montclair State University, the Printmaking Center of New Jersey and Huntington Museum of Art. We accept returns for a refund within 14 days of the item(s) delivery only if an item is grossly misrepresented. Items must be returned in their original condition. We will not reimburse the return shipping. Any refund will be for the original price paid, minus insurance and shipping.
