COMPOSITE CLEANING PENCIL These pencils were designed by Graham Dempsey, an active metal detectorist since 2002 and a Composite Engineer with over 30 years experience , he researched & developed his composites and have collaborated with fellow detectorists to have a better understanding of what is required in a cleaning product. The Relic Restore Pencils are a completely different from other cleaning pencils advertised. Easy to sharpen so you can clean many coins and relics over the refills lifetime. Specialized hybrid composite materials go into both of the composite inserts. Two different resin systems in Epoxy and Vinyl-ester epoxy which are both approved in the industry by British Aerospace create two different applications. White Composite part (light abrasive insert for gradual cleaning of surface to desired detail Black composite part for picking off hardened surface encrusted matter and cleaning out small details. These pencils are Ideal for precision work with composite 2 mm pencil tips.. Retractable composite pencil. Easily removable composite inserts Ideal concept for cleaning encrusted metal artifacts Remove oxidation from all metal surfaces. Easy to Re-sharpen with sand paper.
