Fine Large Pencil

This is a Fantastic Estate Fresh old Pencil Sketch painting by Gallery quality artist James W Cline of Albuquerque NM.  This is one of the examples of his amazing style of Realism Art work, he loved and started off doing Pencil works.  This Big piece is all done by PENCIL... amazing!  This man was truly a talented artist.  The piece is entitled "Wicker Chairs" and features a Beautifully drawn pair of Wicker Chairs out in front of a beautiful Large Victorian porch setting. The quality of the artwork is epic and in a home or office mounted, this will garner an incredible amount of interest and attention!  What a fine "escape" place, while just looking at this one can feel the wicker under you and the cool breeze off the porch of this fine home.  The colorful awning gently waving and the quiet of the wooded surrounding... its so restful and peaceful.   I have a few other pieces of his that I will be listing soon, if not done already. There was a Fine Art Appraisal Report done for Cline in 1999 by a well established high quality Appraisal Company - ACA.  Mary McDonald was a very knowledgeable and highly educated principal of same.  This actual Sketch was listed in that appraisal and valued at $2950.00 20+ years ago.  Its a beautiful piece of work and certainly an investment quality piece!  This piece has an incredible look, just like some of the amazing paintings Steve Hanks paints.  It has that much artistic quality and style... Interestingly enough, one of his Contemporaries, Steve Hanks was also a resident here in Albuquerque NM and of similar age, about 8 years apart. I am sure Hanks and Cline had become more than acquaintances.  Similarities in some of their works is uncanny and I would wager they occasionally used the same Model for some of their work.  What a wonderful image for any Camp or cottage Office or Home. James W. Cline (b1958? - d 2021) - Cline lived in Albuquerque NM his entire life.  He started painting at a fairly young age.  He went to Cibola High School here and graduated in 1976.   Cline went to the Colorado Institute of Art for Commercial Design in 1980.  A fter that he returned home and opened his own Art Gallery here in Albuquerque.  The Kanion Rhodes Gallery. An Art appraiser friend of mine , after seeing the works I bought, stated Cline is absolutely the best artist you never heard of. He also felt the quality of the paintings easily rivalled that of Hanks...in his opinion.  This is a big piece and will require special packaging which I can manage, but size will make the Fed Ex cost higher tan normal.
