Fireman Original Pencil

This is a very special Fireman Original Pencil Drawing by Marybeth Stafford. It was drawn for the husband of an elderly woman I met who sold it to me. Her story was he was a fire fighter and Marybeth drew this for him when he retired to thank him for his years of service. He obviously loved golf too as the fireman is putting a ball to a hole that Marybeth drew on the mat of the frame showing that she herself had it framed for him. This was a very personal piece and is completely unique compared to Marybeth's other drawings. The woman sold it to me because her husband passed away and she wanted it to go to someone who would appreciate it. The drawing is in perfect condition however the frame has something on the glass I can't get off and I don't want to clean it the wrong way so I am leaving it alone. Measures 8.5 inches tall and 14.5 inches long inside not including the golf hole and flag on the mat and the frame measures 23.75 inches long and 16.75 inches tall. Her other original drawings sell for around $400. Thank you for looking.
