This is lovely drawing of a British Napoleonic Officer. The drawing style is quite particular, with an emphasis on the eyes, lashes and hair, giving the sitter a pretty, rather than handsome appearance.  It may have been drawn as a memento for a lover when the soldier/officer went to war. Measurements: 11 x 17 inches Condition:  Good condition. Some crease marks visible on the front of the drawing (they appear as white lines due to color loss).  Minor stains. Please see photos.
