This is a signed pencil drawing of a mother and child, in typical Victorian era clothing, most likely from the first half of the 19th century, with the shawls and bonnets, they appear to be huddling from the wind, echoing Victorian sentimentality. It appears to be signed on the lower right with the name "Cole" .  This was purchased from an English auction house in a lot with a few other 19th century drawings.
