Original Modernist Pencil

Intriguing vintage Modernist 70s/80s original colored pencil drawing.  Depicts an eye catching scene of a tropical paradise complete with a coastal hut and dock, figures fishing, lush foliage and palms trees stretching into a vast landscape with mountains in the distance.  Appears to be a tropical island or coastal scene.  Very well done with clean lines, good attention to detail as well as capture of light and depth.  Medium is colored pencil on paper done in a Modernist style.  No signature that I can note although I have not removed from the frame to examine the reverse side.  Protected behind glass, mounted to a hand painted gold backing, matted and framed in a contemporary molded wood frame.  Ready to hang.
Provenance comes from a large collection of art purchased from the estate of a southern Massachusetts art dealer.
In Excellent overall condition.  Clean, crisp, bright and vibrant with no damage or wear.  Matting shows gentle soiling.  Frame is clean and free of damage.  Displays handosmely. Measures 13 5/8” x 9 1/8”.  Frame measures 21 1/2” x 18”.
