1291-1941: Caran d'Ache designs a box of crayons for the commemoration of the 650th Anniversary of the Swiss Confederation.  1991: On the ocassion of the 700th Anniversary, Caran D'Ache have designed a new version of such anniversary box, bearing witness to a glorious historic past.
Vintage, commemorative, Caran d' Ache box with 18 artist's colored pencils. Designed on the occasion
of the 700th Anniversary of Switzerland in 1991. Made in Geneva Switzerland.
The box has some very minor scratches from storage. Overall very good vintage condition. Pencils were never used.
Booklet about history of the painter (Ferdinand Hodler), History of his work (The Battle of Naefels Fresco) and Caran d'Ache is inside box. Condition is "Gently Pre-owned".
