Prison Art Colored Pencil

Delightful original, multi-colored pencils drawing of Alcatraz Island, the Golden Gate Bridge and a pelican.  There was once an actual postage stamp with this very same image. This particular piece was created especially for a major inmate art exhibit "Art escape at Alcatraz" that took place in the Band Practice Room at Alcatraz from May-June 2017.  It is matted and in excellent condition.  To learn more about that past exhibit, simply look up Prison Arts Touching Hearts. Measures: 15" H and 12" L The artist is Marlon Melendez who was incarcerated at the time of the creation at a CA State Prison.
