Rare 1943 "leatherette" Girl Scout Notebook Pencil

LEATHERETTE NOTEBOOK, 1943 HOLDS PENCIL (Missing) The 1943 catalog calls this "leatherette."  It has a textured look and feel, making it difficult to read the word, "Memorandum" on the front cover.  It shows with a pencil that fit perfectly in the spiral, but the pencil is long gone!  I think the most interesting part is the pages that are cut away to fit perfectly around the pencil. (The third picture looks like there is a pencil there, but there is not !)  This measures approximately 3.5" X 5" and opens to 7". There is lots of writing on the pages, which can be interesting to read. This price is for a "LEATHERETTE NOTEBOOK CASE."
