Red Apple Shaped Pen Pencil

RED APPLE SHAPED PEN / PENCIL HOLDER Great for the teacher to use!  Great classroom desk or home décor! This apple is older & has spent many years living in a classroom - 3 generations of teachers! There are what look like may be the maker's initials on the bottom near the plug, please see picture #11. The apple is not labeled. I do not know what material it is made of. It looks like it could be made of clay but the colors are not shiny.  Perhaps it is bisque or chalk ware?  I do not know the exact age or the country of origin of the apple***If anyone knows more about this apple - the maker, material used, the age & country of origin please let me know so I can correct & update this listing.  Thanks!
