Hardcover book leather case for the Remarkable 2 tablet, including custom made "snap-in" interior mount. Made by me to protect your Remarkable against drops, losing your pen, or even damage incurred from being stored in your backpack / purse / messenger bag. Since this looks like a hardcover book, it can even help protect against thieves - how Remarkable!
Exterior of this case is hard leather, with a textured book binding, the same style that old books used to use. Size wise it's not that much bigger than the Remarkable tablet itself, and really makes reading on the Remarkable like you are reading from an actual book. The case zips closed, which helps keep grime OUT and your stylus IN.
The interior of the case features a custom made "snap-in" styled mount, similar to how many cell phone cases function. Insertion and removal takes literal seconds, and with this mount the entire front of the tablet remains unobstructed. Soft, black suede lines the interior, keeping your Remarkable not only protected but scratch-free. (hopefully!)
For the numbers people, the case isn't much larger than the tablet itself - 8" wide and a tad more than 10" tall (20 x 26 cm) and 1/2-3/4" thick, with a little more thickness at the binding end. However, due to the custom nature of these cases, there are minor differences between each case sold, as I am refashioning cases to fit the Remarkable 2 tablet.
For those who use third party pens which do not magnetically attach to your Remarkable, I include a self-adhesive pen holder with every order, and will work with most aftermarket pens including the Digital Jumbo and Amazon Scribe pens. Pens larger than 1/2" (1.4cm) wide may be too wide to fit in the case with the zipper closed, such as the LAMY AL-Star EMR pen - in that case, I sell several other cases which offer additional side space for thicker pens, see my other listings.
Lastly, unlike most sellers on this site, this ships domestically from the United States (go Vikings / Minnesota!) and is hand stitched by me to fit the Remarkable 2.
