I use this notebook for my swimming workouts. I write the workout in the notebook, and then set the notebook at the edge of the pool. By the end of my swim, the notebook is totally soaked. But the writing (pencil) doesn't smudge, the pages dry on their own, and by the next day it's almost like the paper never saw water in the first place. This really solved the problem of having to memorize my workouts!
