Vintage 1950's Brilliant Blue Boucle Heavy Wool Plaid Check Pencil

Going for a tailored look, doesn't mean you have to look dull!
I can't get over the gorgeous rich brilliance, of the blue in this skirt. Made from a heavy weight woven wool, it is shot through with boucle floss, that outlines the plaid check print, made with light black as a contrast. This fabric would be very warm, and is fairly soft to the touch, although the wearer may still want to consider stockings, or a slip underneath. There is a half-lining, wherein the acetate fabric is only present at the back half of skirt in order to prevent visible panty lines. A metal zipper and matching blue plastic button are present at left side waist, as a closure, and there is a closed kick pleat at center back hem. No labels or maker's marks present. Overall condition is excellent, with no flaws to note and minimal overall signs of wear -please review photographs for full details.
