50s or 60s Box Jacket and Pencil Skirt Red Velvet Suit: by Koret of California from San Francisco.
Soft, medium-weight red velvet construction. Jacket is a boxy dolman shape with bust darts and half sleeves. Collar is somewhere between a puritan and Peter Pan collar. Jacket features five oversized, covered buttons in front. Neat, unlined interior.
Skirt has tight pencil shape with metal (Talon) size zip and tabbed top button closure.
Skirt has 9” kick slit in back. The slit is accented with one of the covered buttons on top, which is just too cute for words.
Skirt— Waist: 25” (you could maybe move the button for an extra 1/4”) Hips: up to 38” Length: 28”.
Jacket— Bust: up to 42” (probably best if smaller due to sleeve shaping). Sleeve (from armpit to hem because of shape): 7.5”. Length: 21.5”
