Vintage Angel Folk Art Sketch.
I found this awesome angel at a high end estate sale over a year ago. The frame I found her in was in bad condition so I stored her away and started looking for a frame that matched her awesomeness. I finally found this wood ornate frame and when I put her in it I thought they looked great together! I am not exactly sure what she is, I think she is a colored pencil sketch of Cupid Awake. It looks very similar to it so I figure the artist was probably making an effort to put a colorful twist on the famous painting. They was probably looking at a print of Cupid Awake while they was sketching. I think this sketch is from the 1950s. I say that based on the other decor in the house. It was mostly mid century decor. These are just my best guesses about the sketch. I could be wrong, I’m not an art expert. I do know that the sketch looks awesome in the ornate wood frame and it will look awesome hanging on any wall in the house or a place of business.
