The cap and barrel have some light surface scratches. The clip is firm and in nice condition, as shown in the photos. The imprints clear and readable.  The cap has a name inscription, as shown.  There is no eraser. This is a classic example of a Cross mechanical pencil  with no obvious material flaws that would hinder its use.  This is a vintage pencil, so you can expect:
