Vintage Green Chicago Pencil

Vintage Green Chicago Pencil Sharpener w/ Patent & Chicago Plastic Film Incomplete. Pre-owned and missing middle metal cover piece. Sharpener has a lot of wear and is heavily scratched. What makes this special is not only its green color but two very fragile plastic like film pieces. One states, “Made In USA Patented Under one or more of the following patents: June 9, 1900, April 5, 1904, May 1, 1906, June 1, 1907, Sept. 5, 1916, Nov. 14, 1916, Oct. 1, 1918, Nov. 5, 1919, Sept. 13, 1921 Other patents pending”. The other yellow like film states, “Chicago Made By Automatic Pencil Sharpener Co. Chicago, U.S.A.”  The film is cracked, broken and not complete. I’m thinking it might of went all the way around the inside. I have an additional 3 small broken pieces of the film which I will include. Sharpener measures approximately 4 1/8” High.
