Vintage MCM Wood Cat Pencil Holder Figurine Made In Japan 6.5" Tall.
This unique wood cat has leather looking ears, plastic whiskers, round wood cheeks, and a read bead for a nose. There is a hole on his back where his tail would be, and a pencil fits into it (see photos).
He measures 6.50" tall to the tip of his ears and is 2.25" wide.
There are scuff marks on the wood. You could wipe it down with Restore a Finish in Maple, and that would shine him right up. The felt that was on the bottom is missing (see photos).
