Vintage Parker Senior "big Red" Pencil

When I found this Parker senior "Big Red" mechanical pencil, I immediately saw that the cap had been replaced.  Instead of a gold plated metal cap, the pencil has a cap of a similar color and pattern as the barrel, but flares slightly outwards.  The pencil does work to expel lead, but the imprint on the barrel has been worn off, and there is some brassing to the metal parts.  Unfortunately, the added cap is so tightly attached to the pencil, I was unable to remove it.  The pencil is therefore sold as-is for parts, repair, or restoration. I utilize the United States Postal Service for almost all sales, purchased through Pricetronic shipping.  Unless otherwise noted, the quoted price of shipping is calculated based on the size and weight of the package, and the distance between my location and the shipping address.  I do not charge additional fees for packaging or handling.  I only ship domestically.  I do, however, participate in Pricetronic’s Global Shipping Program.
